    I have fallen into the trap of buying cheap sunglasses and have forgotten how quality sunglasses are worth every dollar. I have two JS sunglasses and get compliments on them every time. Every part of the product is high quality from the frame, lens, case and packaging. Their replacement policy is unbeatable. Give these a try! You won't regret them.

    I’ve misplaced many pairs of sunglasses which is always frustrating. A friend of mine told me about Jack Stegeman’s warranty coverage and I really like their classic styles, so I decided to replace my recently lost Ray-Bans with a pair of JS Jacks. I’ve had them for a few weeks now and have been extremely pleased with the look and feel of these sunglasses - very well built! The frame and hinges are much sturdier than anything I’ve ever owned and the polarized lenses are clear and crisp. For the price, these are a definite upgrade and for obvious reasons I am a huge fan of the lost pair replacement policy. Certainly recommend Jack Stegeman, especially if you tend to lose your sunglasses!

    First pair of Tortoise shell glasses I've owned - and am obsessed. Got to break them in on a camping trip in Mammoth Lakes and I never took them off. Great shades!

    Besides looking great, these sunglasses are very high quality. The lenses are polarized and are very clear. It feels like everything is in HD! Love them and will buy their products again.

Design Details

  • Inspiration

    The JS Jack was inspired by John F. Kennedy. Between the escalating threat of war and the social rights movement, JFK entered the presidency during a tumultuous time in U.S. history. With any political figure, it’s easy to point out flaws and mistakes based on personal ideology and political views, but JFK’s contribution was far greater than any political accomplishments we may credit him. He brought hope and optimism to the American public with his positive attitude and message for peace. He called upon us to be our best by working together, and he inspired many, just as he still does today.

  • Design

    A classic Italian tortoise frame with yellow gold accents make for a well-balanced combination in the JS Jack Tortoise. The gloss Havana finish creates an elegant and distinguished appearance, and polarized gray lenses bring a modern touch to a timeless design.

  • Frame

    The frames are crafted from a high-grade Italian cellulose acetate, and each frame is individually hand-polished and assembled. German-engineered 5-barrel hinges and screws are used to retain smooth movement for years to come, and a wire core extends from hinges to support temple shape.

  • Lenses

    Our lenses are made from an impact resistant CR-39 that provides incredible durability and exceptional visual clarity. Polarized lenses come standard, and all lenses include optimal protection by blocking 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Lenses also have an anti-scratch hard coating to reduce damage and an anti-reflection coating to reduce glare.
